Boxnote 132; August 23rd Gustare/Kalotaszeg Kostoloi – Hrana naturala, locala de la satele din zona Huedinului

Yesterday, Gyongy came to Damos to help us collect in the rain! We were chatting about greater cellandine being useful on wounds and good for the liver. She told me in Damos they call it, Verehullo fecskefu … whereas in Valko, it is kutyatej/rostopasca (Nica told me!) a lovely lovely local name.

Erzsike (tomatoes) came again to calmly prepare your mixed herb bag and spinach and salad. Her husband, Domi at market said when he saw her on FB he remembered how lovely she is, so this week, I took another photo to remind him again!
